“I’m thankful for the time I had
when mum raised me as a boy.
She taught me to read and write
in a small little town in Vaishali.”
“Mom told me to treat all people
with kindness and respect.
And always hold my head up high
and stand so I’m erect.”
“Mom showed me how to care
and to be a loving soul.
Also when I take a little walk
to talk to God as I stroll.”
“For the world is not perfect
and not every one is kind.
But if I treat others right
then kindness I will find.”
“Yes I’m so thankful for all this
that my mother taught to me.
She was my guiding light
and how I wanted to be.”
“Oh thank you Lord for my mum
who raised me to be kind.
For this time of year right now
she’s always on my mind.”

dheeraj bhai,
humko e poem aey go cheej nahi bhujhaya ki poem aapka likha hua hai ki kahin se quote kiye hain.
Agar kahin se quote kiye hain to poet ka naam likh dete aur agar aapka likha hua hai tab to bahute badiya hai lekin us case mein phir “Illinois” ka reference samajh mein nahi aaya………
khaair kuch bhi ho poem hai badhiya………..

Hi Dheeraj,
Really u have developed very excellent blog. Before this i read so many blog but i couldn’t found like such blog. All the information provided in this blog are really very very interesting. Even i spended two and half year in vellore but i was not aware from this much of information. The poem about mom is also one of the great poem but i don’t know is it your creation or someone else but any how keeping it on the front page shows your love and affection with your mom.
In last but not least i would like to say you that in future also you try to update this site from other valuable information, so that we can aware from these facts at a single place.

whn i open 1st time ur blog,and i fine this excellent poem here..really touching heart…sure i will go through ur blog..hope here will be some gud information n hope some more gud poem m going 2 get here…hope we all will be follow our mom lesson,those she teach us 4 being a gud n suceesfull person.thks 4 this gud poem.
